| Day 1: Maun - Central Kalahari- Botswana |
|
On you arrival in Maun you will be met and escorted to your transfer flight to the Grassland Safari Lodge, situated close to Central Kalahari Game Reserve. Accommodation is offered in thatched chalets with en-suite bathrooms. A swimming pool with a leisure deck overlooks a waterhole frequented by birds and antelopes. Activities included are game drives on which you see the big and small game species found in the vast Kalahari, including herds of eland, gemsbok and blue wildebeest. During night drives you are likely to see the nocturnal animals such as aardvark, porcupine and brown hyena. The brilliant stars of the Kalahari night sky with the cool desert breeze are a sensuous experience not to be missed.

Day 2: Kalahari Desert - Bushmen
|
|
During your stay participate in the cultural activities of the San Bushman. You have the opportunity to join local San on a food gathering experience. See their skills of “reading” the signs of the veld and understand more about the reason of their survival for so many centuries in a seemingly hostile environment. The activities are closed off with traditional dances.

Day 3: Kalahari Desert - Okavango Delta
|
|
Fly out in the morning into the Okavango Delta, one of the few un-spoilt paradises left in Africa. The Kwara Camp is situated on the edge of the permanent waters of the well-known Okavango Delta, sharing a common boundary with Moremi Game Reserve.
Most of the luxury tents are raised on teak decks to afford views over the surrounding plains and lagoon with the resident hippos. The camp is built on an island in the shade of huge trees overlooking a lagoon.
The spectacular scenery with scattered herds of plains game and the ever-attendant predators help to enhance your safari.
Due to the labyrinth of waterways, islands, seasonal flood plains and bush, Kwara is always interesting and varied. Taking a morning mekoro (dug out canoe) trip, moving silently through the flood plains is a memorable experience and the highlight for many.

Day 4&5: Okavango Delta
|
|
Spend these days in the Kwara Wilderness Area with activities on offer. Due to the specific location of the camp, Kwara is able to offer power boating, mekoro trips, walks and game drives all year round. On night game drives you will see various interesting nocturnal mammal species. These include leopard, lion, wild dog, hyena and smaller predators. The presence of permanent water ensures year round game viewing.

Day 6: Okavango – Kwando River
|
|
Today you fly from Kwara to the Kwando Lagoon Camp in the banks of the Kwando River in the Kwando Wilderness Concession in the remote north of Botswana. The extensive Kwando Wilderness Concession of 232 000 ha (550 000 acres) is known for its big elephant and buffalo herds. Plains game grazes on the wide flood plains, in spectacular scenery under the ever-watchful scrutiny of predators. Lagoon offers regular and reliable sightings of elephant, lion, wild dog, leopard, cheetah, giraffe, zebra, tsessebe, impala, wildebeest, buffalo and waterbuck in stunning settings.
Guests are accommodated in big safari tents under huge shady trees. The en-suite tents are Comfortable and tastefully furnished and overlook the Kwando River.
Meals are served in the main building, where you will find a cozy lounge and reference library as well.

Day 8: Botswana - Zambabwe –Victoria Falls
|
|
After breakfast you depart from Lebala to the famous Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. From the Victoria Falls Airport a private transfer takes you to The Elephant Camp just outside Victoria Falls.
The Elephant Camp is a small luxury intimate lodge under canvas on a private concession within the National Park and is bounded by the Masuwe River and the Zambezi gorges. The views from this stunning lodge offer wonderful views of the entire length of the Victoria Falls’ spray and the spectacular gorges which separate Zimbabwe and Zambia.
The Camp provides regular transfer into Victoria Falls to visit the spectacular falls.
