Day 1:
On arrival at Windhoek International Airport you will be met by a representative of SUNBIRD TOURS and transferred to your hotel in Windhoek. The Olive Grove Guesthouse is an up market establishment situated in a quiet and peaceful area not too far way from city centre. Accommodation is offered in elegant en-suite rooms, with a large verandah in front of every room, with tables and chairs for al fresco dining. The open-air lounge, spa bath, plunge pool and tranquil garden all invite the visitor to unwind and relax under Namibia’s open skies. Bed/Breakfast OLIVE GROVE GUESTHOUSE
Day 2:
Early morning transfer to Eros Airport from where your fly-in safari starts to Maun in Botswana. After completion of the passport formalities, a short flight takes you into the Central Kalahari and the Deception Valley where Bushmen once roamed. Here the Deception Valley Lodge offers a unique experience for those who wish to soak up the true atmosphere of the bush in one of Africa’s remote areas. Accommodation consists of five private units, each with a bedroom, lounge and a Victorian style bathroom with an outside shower and a private deck. Game drives are done in open four-wheel-drive vehicles or take to the bush on foot with experienced guides who share their knowledge of game in the region. Wildlife in this area is plentiful, ranging from oryx, kudu and springbok to cheetah, leopard, the evasive brown hyena and the inquisitive meerkat, as well as a prolific bird life. Day 3:
Spend this day with activities or relax at the swimming pool of Deception Valley Lodge. Full Board including activities DECEPTION VALLEY LODGE
Day 4:
Departure in the course of the morning into the Okavango Delta to the northern boundaries of the Moremi Game Reserve. The Kwara Camp is located in the flood plains of the Okavango Delta in a large private concession. Accommodation is in eight stylish safari tents on teak decks and hidden under large trees, each with a view over the plains. The camp has a small gift shop, lounge, bar dining room and a small plunge pool. Water activities are offered here all year round. Well-trained guides and trackers will take you out on game drives and walks. Full Board including activities KWARA CAMP
Day 5:
Experience the peace and tranquillity of the delta in the morning, gliding silently through the water channels in “mokoros”, traditional dugout canoes. Feel the pulse and excitement of lions hunting while on a game drive. Full Board including activities KWARA CAMP
Day 6:
A short flight will take you to the Kwando River in the Linyanti area, where the spacious tents of Lebala Camp are built on raised teak decks designed to offer expansive views offer the surrounding plains. The broad plains creating spectacular scenery are adorned with herds of plains game and the ever-attendant predators. Lebala offers regular and reliable sightings of elephant, lion, wild dog, leopard, cheetah, giraffe, zebra, tsessebe, kudu, lechwe, impala, wildebeest and waterbuck in stunning settings. Lebala is famous for elephant sightings -in fact the Kwando concession is home to more elephant than the entire country of South Africa. Full Board including activities LEBALA CAMP
Day 7:
The staff at Lebala Camp will spoil you with their personal and unobtrusive service. Enjoy the exciting game viewing in this remote private concession. Full Board including activities LEBALA CAMP
Day 8:
Plan today’s activities with your experienced guide, to get the best game viewing in this area. Full Board including activities SUSUWE ISLAND LODGE
Day 9:
Visit the mighty Victoria Falls or the National Museum in Livingstone or just relax at the pool overlooking the Zambezi River. Full Board including SUSSI LODGE
Day 10:
After a leisurely breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for the return flight to Windhoek. On arrival at Eros Airport we will transfer you to your hotel. Bed/Breakfast OLIVE GROVE GUESTHOUSE
